Description:The North Staffordshire Infirmary was moved from Etruria to Princes Road, Hartshill in 1869. Its name was changed in 1890 to the North Staffordshire Infirmary and Eye Hospital, and finally to North Staffordshire Royal Infirmary in 1925. The hospital closed in December 2012, but the buildings are still used by the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust for car parking and offices.
