Description:A postcard scene of Salt Avenue viewed from the junction with Salt Road. The houses and trees still survive (2026). Built in the Stychfields area, they were constructed mainly by Messrs. Siemens Brothers & Co. Ltd. for workers at their new nearby factory which opened in 1903.

Postcard published by W. Shaw, Burslem. It was posted in 1905 from Stafford to an address in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
