Description:The photographer Dr. J.E.C. Peters left a note attached to this picture stating: “Brocton Hall Mill".

The building remains (2026) and stands next to a car park near Brocton Hall on the Brocton Hall Golf Club Estate which is off Sawpit Lane, Brocton. In earlier years it is thought to have been used as a sawmill and currently as a store by the Golf Club.
