Description:This is the rear of Caterham Brothers Fireplaces on Waterloo Road. The business became a limited company in 1958, and manufactured fireplaces and Cannon Tiles and their works were at the northern end of Commercial Street.
The far part of the factory beyond the roller shutter has since been partially demolished but the rest still stands (2026). Beyond are the post war houses on Commercial Street.
