Description:This Midland Red Bus is pictured travelling south along Bridge Street, Stafford. In the background is the Stafford Borough Council Civic Centre. In the centre behind the bus are the Express and Star offices which later moved to Mill Street due to a major redevelopment in the area, and on the right is the Allied Carpet Store. This later became the Chicago Rock Café, a nightspot which closed around March 2010 and was then demolished to make way for a multi-screen cinema complex on the site. This photograph was taken by Stafford photographer Tony Boydon.
