Description:Pottery factory interior with a view of a casting shop and workers. Rows of jugs in their moulds can be seen in the foreground of the picture. Taken at the Morley Fox pottery factory at the Salopian Works, Victoria Road, Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent. The company was founded as William Morley in 1879 and was succeeded by Morley Fox & Co. in 1906. In 1944 the name of the company reverted to William Morley & Co until it was wound up in 1957.
