Description:'The Market House at Stoke, Staffordshire,' showing a Georgian building on four arches each side and two at the ends, with a low roof and a cupola. There are some stalls set up and waiting carts. Built in 1794, the Town Hall stood on Market Street (later Hill Street). The arcaded ground floor of the Town Hall was used as a market.
