Description:'Sedgley.' View of the south side showing the new church with a spire, aisles and a clerestory. It is a projected design for the new church, constructed between 1826 and 1829, as it includes next to the tower a replacement for what was previously known as the Homer Chapel. This part was never built. This engraving was used on bookplates by the vicar, the Revd Charles Girdlestone, who was in place when the church was rebuilt.
