Description:'Monument in Hamstall Ridware Church, Staffordshire,' with a plain top. There are numerous shields on the sides (eight showing.) 'J. B.,' [John Buckler.]

This tomb is on on the south side of the chancel and is a monument to Richard and John Cotton (died 1502), Lords of the Manor. The shields on the tomb chest retain much of their original paintwork including small figures of family members.
