Description:'St. Mary's, Stafford.' South west view showing the clerestory, the south aisle and transept, and the central square-and-octagonal tower. There is a more distant view of the south aisle of the chancel, and the building constructed over the roadway into Greengate Street. To the left is the original but much altered Anglo-Saxon church. Artist: Rev. S. Shaw.
