Description:'Eccleshall Castle,' showing the rebuilt Bishop's Palace (1698) viewed from the grounds. There is a ruined turret at the corner of the moat to the right, and steps and balustrading in front of the building. The house is of two storeys, a central block and projecting wings. Artist: Thomas Peploe Wood.
