Description:Lea and Sons' garage on Newport Road, Stafford, opened in 1910. They were agents for private and commercial cars, and for tyres by Michelin, Dunlop, Continental, Kempshall and Grose.

Petrol pumps had not been invented when this photograph was taken; petrol was sold in cans. The car on the left is a Model T Ford dating to about 1911, and the one on the right a Humber landaulet from around 1908.
