Description:View of Walton-on-the-Hill looking toward Walton Garage.

In this photo the road going to the right was called Walton Bank and is now called The Rise. Stockton Farm was immediately on the left. When the First World War ended the huts on the army camp on Cannock Chase surplus to requirements and were sold off.

George Woods of Walton on the Hill bought two of them and used them to set up Walton Garage. He also ran a taxi business from there. In 1928 he sold the business.
