Description:A battery powered electric shunting locomotive (loco 0-4-0, N.S.R. No.1), in the Wolverhampton Road sidings. This locomotive was built at Stoke Works in 1917 and withdrawn from service at the Oakamoor Copper Works in 1963. The locomotive was possibly restored in 1963, before entering the collections of the National Railway Museum, York. It is now on long term loan at Churnet Valley Railway, Cheddleton, near Leek. The personnel are from the left: Mr A. Bell, Jack Seabourne (foreman), A. Betts (inspector) and Jim Skillen (driver).
