Date:1920 - 1930 (c.)

Description:Norton Bridge Station was on the London and North Western and North Staffordshire Railway lines. It was the nearest station to Eccleshall and in the mid-1800s the landlord of the Royal Oak sent omnibuses to collect passengers.

The station buildings were demolished in 1961. The stationmaster's house (right) remains and today is a private dwelling. The line between Stafford and Stoke-on-Trent has been replaced by a new line which opened in December 2016 which bypasses the site of the station. Trains between Crewe and Stafford still use this section of the line.
