Description:Four colliers walk home, dirty and tired, from a shift at Sneyd Colliery. The pit is in the background and the men walk over the loop line Railway Bridge at Cobridge.
Notice the two men on the outside are wearing wooden clogs! These were popular because they were cheap, tough and comfortable.
