Description:The Views, Penkhull, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. Birthplace of Sir Oliver Lodge.

Lodge was considered one of the leading scientists of his generation.

He invented the spark plug and was the first person to transmit a radio signal.

He also did lots of research in the area of psychic phenomena, publishing the works "The Survival of Man"(1909) and "Raymond or Life and Death"(1916).

Future owners of this property included the late Sir Stanley Matthews, one of England's most revered footballing heroes.
