Description:Meredith House School was one of the oldest private schools in Lichfield. It began in Lombard Street, but moved to Wade Street in 1845. It was mainly a school for girls, with a small number being boarders, though there was also a preparatory department for boys, many of whom later went on to the Grammar School.
