Description:This photograph shows a cauliflower harvest, using the Gallimores' farm cart. William Gallimore was a market garderner and had fields on his farm on the Stafford Road, Lichfield. He was born in 1860 and passed away in 1948, leaving his estate to two of his sons, also market gardeners. In the photograph, from left to right, is George Gallimore, William Gallimore (Snr), James Gallimore (stood on the cart), Willliam Gallimore (Jnr) and then a farm hand, possibly a Mr Tilsby or a Mr Mellor.
