Description:The Clock Tower can be seen here at the bottom of Bore Street, before it was moved to the other end of Friary Road in 1926/1928.

Jones and Co Garage can be seen on the right hand corner of Bore Street. The Garage was the first to have electricity in 1920. It only had one line, which went to the Palladium where the electricity was only sufficient to operate the projector. Jones Garage was demolished in about 1965.
