Description:Uttoxeter Carnival Queen, Miss Eva Rock pictured with her retinue at Uttoxeter Racecourse. Her ladies in waiting were Miss Maud Tooth (from Leigh), Miss Kathleen Cockersole (from Uttoxeter), Miss Kathleen Jardine (from Rocester) and Miss Betsy Roberts (from Uttoxeter).

Uttoxeter Carnival was first held in 1925 and took place every June until 1936. It was revived in 1951.
