Description:The Grand Cinema with boy commissioner, Gordon Truman, standing outside. The Grand Cinema was built in 1914-15 by Charles H. Dent. The facade was decorated with Gibbs and Canning terracotta and crowned by a 7ft statue of a classical muse, which represented the Arts. The statue was in Tamworth Castle Museum in 2002.
