Description:A Street Party in Calcutta Terrace either for 'Victory in Europe' or 'Victory over Japan'. On the back row from left to right, they are, Mrs May Smith, Rosa, Mrs Peggy Aldridge, holding baby James, (hidden) Mrs Beatrice Bettridge holding her daughter Una Rosita Bettridge, Mrs Kellia, Mrs Forrester, Mrs Eda Laughton, Mrs Mackinson and Mrs Forester's daughter. The children sitting at the left hand table include Mrs Mackinson's son and Roger Smith. On the far right are the Mayoress's grandson and Mayoress Mrs Milo Turner. Also pictured as a child is Jane Betteridge. Far left sitting on a chair is Bryan Mattison, front table second left Mary Gee, behind Mary is John Kellia. Back row center is Mrs Kellia (Florrie). Back row right wearing a spotted top is Mary Mattision. Una Penelope Bettridge is the girl at the front shading her eyes and opposite her is June Bettridge.
