Description:After the end of World War I and the Depression of the 1920s, the 1930s was a time of increasing economic stability. Biddulph saw a growth in the building of private housing, which was a major factor in the subsequent improvement in social conditions. Wedgwood Lane and Halls Road built c1931-5 were the first bungalow estates in the area.
