Description:On the back row are left to right: H. Notley, A. Moss (Capt.), R. Rodgers, G. Lyons, L. Hayward, R. Dunkley, R. Bellington, S. Gosling (Trainer). Front row: A. Johnson, H. Peacock, G. Ambleton, L. Dean, and R. Billings. Lance Hayward later became a professional footballer. The team played in the Tunstall and District League. In 1934/5 they won the Infirmary Cup and the Leek and Moorland Cup. The 1935/6 season saw the club in the finals for both these trophies.
