Description:Mr Fynney was a Silk Manufacturer. He was born at Endon 1814, but lived for most of his life at Lowe Hill House in Leek. His wife, Mary, farmed land in that area. Mountford Fynney died at the age of 68 in 1881. Fynney Street in Leek is named after him.
