Description:Eastgate House at 78, Eastgate Street, Stafford. On the left is Martin Street and County Buildings.

Eastgate House was built in 1683 for General John Dolphin. The house was refronted in the early 19th century and a rear wing was added in the late 19th century. It was later the Chief Constable's Office and then the Registrar's Officer's office.
