Description:Brewood Library is situated on Newport Street and was opened by Councillor F.W. Savill, Chairman of Staffordshire County Council's library sub-committee on 27 March 1972. Built at a cost of £30,000 it had an initial stock of around 11,000 books and gramophone records.
