Description:Cheslyn Hay Library stood on High Street and was built in 1974 at a cost of £9,000. It was opened by Staffordshire County Councillor H.A. Hawkins, Chairman of Staffordshire Education Committee, on 27 September 1974. The building was later demolished and replaced by the Nile Practice doctor's surgery. Prior to this the library moved to the Village Hall on Pinfold Lane.
