Description:View from Bass Middle Brewery showing Ind Coope's Brewery (1859), and its water tower (listed Grade II), in the centre of picture, across the foreground, (part of Allsopp & Co.'s premises). The gable ends of buildings in the right foreground are those of Bass & Co.'s Scutari Maltings (now demolished), beyond which can be seen Messrs. Allsopp's New Brewery of 1858. Midland Railway and Great Northern Railway waggons are stationed on Allsopp's sidings.
