Description:A paper mill has been located on this site since the early nineteenth century. In 1851 the factory was called Holborn Mill. It would have drawn water from the Lyme brook for the papermaking processes. Unfortunately, there was a devastating fire in 1967. Despite this incident Deeko continued to trade until 2011. The factory was later replaced by a Lidl supermarket and a Travelodge hotel.
