Description:Barton and Walton Railway Station served Barton-under-Needwood in Staffordshire and Walton-on-Trent in Derbyshire. The station was opened by the Birmingham and Derby Junction Railway in 1839. It closed to passenger traffic in 1958, however, the goods yard remained open for freight traffic until the final closure in 1964.
