Description:This view of Victoria Place at Miles Green shows the general goods shop with the sign 'Sterling' below the window. These buildings were demolished under the terms of the Housing Act 1930.

At the far left is a bus stop. Further down the road some of the inhabitants have already left and doorways and windows have been bricked up.
