Description:Codsall Rabbit Fair took place at Moors Farm, Chillington Lane, Codsall. Visitors could enjoy demonstrations and children under 14 were encouraged to enter their rabbits into a competition. It was organised by Staffordshire and Shropshire Commercial Rabbit Producers Group and was believed to have been the first such event held in the United Kingdom. The opening ceremony was undertaken by Mr R. Young of Stowmarket, Suffolk, Chairman of the Commercial Rabbit Association.
