Description:A lithograph print of Biddulph Old Hall, by Kell Brothers of Holborn, London. It was produced to accompany the Biddulph Grange Sale Catalogue of 1871 and published by Edward and Henry Lumley, Land Agents and Auctioneers, London.

Biddulph Old Hall was built by Francis Biddulph in the 16th century. It was a royalist garrison during the Civil War and was besieged by Captain Ashenhurst ion 1643 and badly damaged. During the 18th century a farmhouse was built into the ruins with later 19th century additions and alterations.
