Description:The cast of a Christmas play at Shooting Butts Camp School. The play is '1066 and All That' or 'Mr Brown London Town' and was also performed in Rugeley Town Hall that year. Seated in front of Lord Nelson at the end of the second row is Gordon Baker.

Shooting Butts Camp near Rugeley was one of the boys' National Camps established by the National Camps Corporation during the Second World War. It was used as a boys school by Birmingham Education Authority. Later, after the Second World War, it became a residential school, with an annexe for girls at Pipewood, Blithbury.
