Description:A view of houses on Pitcher Bank on Eastgate Street looking towards Lammascote Road. On the right are numbers 52 to 59 Eastgate Street. Number 55, with the Belle Vue Zoo poster on its wall, was the Cow and Hare public house between 1790 and 1928. All these houses were demolished to make way for the Police Station.
