Description:A postcard view of Maypole dancers standing by the Maypole for the photographer, with the millstone grit rock outcrops of Wetley Rocks in the background.

The building in the centre is the back of the Powys Arms public house which still stands (2023) on the Main Road and on the right there are several fairground amusements and rides.
