The man standing on the cart on the right is thought to be William Deakin, who was a farmer in the Wetley Rocks area around the time this photograph was taken. On the reverse of the postcard there is a brief note in pencil: “Grandad Deakin, Wetley Rocks”. Please contact us if you recognise either of these two men or the precise location.
