Description:A view looking along Merrial Street taken from the Red Lion Square end. Very few of these buildings still stand. On the left can be seen Cash & Co.'s boot and shoe shop and the sign for Cheadle Bros butchers at 2 Merrial Street. On the right are the Central Hotel and George Summerfield's general and fancy drapers.
