Description:A North Staffordshire Lines railway timetable valid for passenger services from September 9th 1963 to 14th June 1964. It includes the last Potteries Loop Line passenger services which closed to passengers on 2nd March 1964. The stations closed were: Hanley, Cobridge, Burslem, Tunstall, Pitts Hill, New Chapel & Goldenhill, Kidsgrove Liverpool Road aa well as the passenger service to Newcastle-under-Lyme.

The Loop Line was fully opened in the 1870s being the last major construction of the North Staffordshire Railway Company, nicknamed the "Knotty" after its Stafford Knot logo. The Loop Line was in terminal decline due to low passenger numbers long before the 'Dr Beeching's Axe' fell. Following Dr Beeching's British Railways Report published on 27th March 1963 multiple lines and stations were closed throughout the entire United Kingdom.
