Description:Looking east along Market Street, Tamworth, with the arcaded Town Hall built in 1701 to the right. The National Provincial Bank is on the far side of the road, since demolished and the site now (2023) occupied by the Nat West and HSBC banks. The tower block under construction is Weymouth House. From a series of photographs taken before the construction of the inner ring road.
