Description:This postcard view shows Weston's War Memorial situated in its original location at the junction of Old Road and Stafford Road. The spire of St. Andrews church can be seen in the background.

The unveiling of Weston's War Memorial took place on 24th May, 1923. It was performed by Sir Walter Congreve, V.C.; K.C.B; M.V.O. of Chartley Castle. The Rev. R .F .Edwards performed the service. The memorial was moved in 1968 to its present position on Green Road near the Woolpack Inn.
