Date:11th of July 1961

Description:Stafford and District Licenced Victuallers' Association pictured at Guinness's Park Royal Brewery in Dublin. They had been invited to visit by Arthur Guinness Son & Co. Ltd. The party of local landlords was led by Mr B. Wilson (President), Mr B. Daly (Vice-president) and Mr F. Wooley (Secretary).

Far right, second row up is Ernie Ferrie. He kept the Falcon in Stone in 1951 before moving to Stafford to the Hop Pole Inn on Sandon Road. He then moved to the Old Albion on Marston Road before returning to the Hop Pole.
