Description:A postcard view of the bailey of Tutbury Castle taken from the motte. On the right are the South tower and the King's Lodging, part of which is being used as a tea shop.

The South Tower was built 1442-50 and is often known as Queen Mary's Tower. The round-headed window at the top was made from old materials in the 18th century for decorative purposes.The King's Lodging was built in 1631-35 on the site of the former great hall.
