Description:Wedding of George Henry Greatorex (1904-1963) and Lorna Lillian Taylor at St. Chad's Church, Seighford. The couple are pictured by the wedding car, she is holding a bouquet of flowers.

George was son of George William Greatorex of Friars Road, Stafford and was Chief Technical Assistant in the County Treasurer's Office. He was also a well-known local cricketer and was a member of Stafford Cricket Club. Lorna was daughter of Mrs L.M. Taylor and the late Mr H. Taylor of Haughton and worked in the County Education Offices. The married couple lived at 119 Doxey, Stafford.
