Description:Previously known as Hopwas Hayes Lodge, The Woodhouse was built by Zachary Babington in 1730 as part of the Fisherwick estate. It was situated on the highest part of Hopwas Wood. It subsequently had 19th and 20th century alterations. Falling into disrepair, it was demolished in 2010.

Postcard published by Miss H. Levett. Miss Levett was a daughter of Colonel Robert Levett J.P. of Packington Hall near Lichfield. This is one of a set of six postcards with views of Hopwas Wood and Packington which were sold in aid of The Hopwas Endowment Fund in 1906.
