Date:1923 - 1925 (c.)

Description:A postcard view of St. Mary's Church of England School on Church Hill, Weeford, which originally opened as Weeford National School. The school was enlarged in 1923 and behind the School House and the adjoining original classroom is what appears to be a World War Army hut refurbished as a classroom and painted to imitate timber-framing. The school closed in 1983. The School House is now (2023) a restaurant and wedding venue.

In the foreground cattle graze on the meadows by the Black Brook.
