Date:22nd of June 1911

Description:This postcard photograph shows a large group of children, mostly boys, outside Hilderstone School during celebrations for the Coronation of King George V and Queen Mary in 1911.

The writer of the message on the reverse says that he is not on the photograph because he did not know it was being taken, and that half the children had not come off the sports grounds. The Coronation of King George V and Queen Mary took place in Westminster Abbey on the 22nd June 1911.
