Description:Ralph Mosley was Mayor of Newcastle-under-Lyme from 1866 to 1887. He owned a draper’s shop on Newcastle High Street and lived with his family at The Firs, which is now the home of the Brampton Museum and Art Gallery. A studio portrait taken by Edwin Harrison of Newcastle-under-Lyme.
